List of plant species included in the Phytotitre library

The Phytotitre library consists of one polar and one non-polar extract of 367 different plant species (304 unique genera). 33 species are represented more than once in the library because different parts of the same plant (e.g. tuber and leaf) are occasionally used for different ethnomedicinal purposes.

Rationale for inclusion of plant species in the Phytotitre library

A list of all plants included in the library, together with notes on the rationale for the inclusion of each, based on either ethnopharmacological use and/or evidence of association with disease in epidemiological or interventional studies, is provided with all versions of the library (please click here to view a sample page).
